As part of the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science yesterday, today we are glad to showcase some of the awesome women scientists (most of them entomologists) who are contributing to the science of #vectorcontrol at CREC/LSHTM. The Day was instituted by the United Nations to recognize the critical role women and girls play in science and technology; and the reality that science and gender equality are both vital for the achievement of internationally agreed development goals, including the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Visit our CREC/LSHTM Collaborative Research Program to learn more about their works.
You are invited to Honorary Award Lecture by our Lead Scientist Dr Corine Ngufor | meet our new students from LSTHM | and find several grants currently open and more in this 21st Issue of CREC/LSHTM Newsletter. #vectorcontrol | www.crec-lshtm.com https://mailchi.mp/f5163e0c80a4/crec-lshtm-newsletter-21ed-june2022-15546929
