GLP CERTIFICATION

GLP Certification   After 2 years of hard work, CREC/LSHTM has as of January 2019 been granted GLP Certification as a OECD GLP Compliant Facility by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS). see approval letter from GLP Certification Dr. Corine Ngufor, Assistant Professor, Disease Control Department, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Facility Manager of CREC/LSHTM Facility said: “GLP accreditation is never an easy process for any facility. CREC/LSHTM is now the first facility in the West African region and the second in Africa to achieve GLP accreditation for vector control product evaluation. We look forward to working with agrochemical companies to deliver high quality data on the efficacy of novel vector control products in line with the WHO pre-qualification requirements. Evaluation of Fludora® fusion (a Clothianidin and deltamethrin mixture) in Phase I and Phase II for indoor residual spraying against pyrethroid resistant Anopheles gambiae sI in Benin.

Dear Friends, CREC/LSHTM Collaborative Research Programme participated at 7th Multilateral Initiative on Malaria Conference 2018, Dakar, Senegal. We presented our data on Evaluation of Fludora® Fusion (a Clothianidin and deltamethrin mixture) in Phase I and Phase II for indoor residual spraying against pyrethroid resistant Anopheles gambiae sI in Benin.
